Just a reminder folks, Friday’s night pre-registration will be held at the Original Roadhouse Grill this year on October 2, 2015, from 6 pm – 9 pm – they will have a special menu for the 999 foundation at the pre-registration. Come hang out, buy some awesome 999 swag. We have new color t-shirts this year. And remember, all the money raised, stays here local to help local officers and families.
On Saturday, October 3, 2015, our event will start a Bikersfield at 2622 Fairhaven Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93308from 7:30 – 9:30 am. Free breakfast will be provided by Sikh Riders of America, which will include breakfast burritos, coffee, and Danishes. You do not need a motorcycle to participate at this event. The parade ride will begin at 9:30 am and head to the Law Enforcement Memorial which is located at 1415 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93301.
From 10:00 – 10:30 am there will be a Memorial Ceremony where we will honor our law enforcement fallen heroes and their survivors. After which, the poker memorial ride will continue to several locations to collect your poker cards to make the best poker hand. The ride will conclude at the Original Roadhouse Grill at 8490 Rosedale Highway, Bakersfield, CA 93312.
From 12 noon to 4:00 pm the Kern County 999 Foundation will have lunch, donated raffle prizes, live action, 50/50 drawings and a live band (Tsunami Surfers) – along with special guest speakers. There will be plenty of food eat and drink for all to come. Please come out and join us this year and remember, all the money that is raised, stays here locally to help Kern County Law Enforcement Officers and their surviving families.
