Funeral services for Bakersfield Police Sergeant Dennis Moore, who passed away Wednesday morning, will be held Thursday. Police officials say a police procession will begin at 8 a.m. at Greenlawn Chapel on River Boulevard. The public service for Moore will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at RiverLakes Community Church on Calloway Drive.
Starting at about 0800 hours, the following roadways will be affected: Panorama Drive, southbound Union Avenue, State Route 178, westbound State Route 204, State Route 99, westbound Olive Drive, and southbound Calloway Drive. Later in the morning, the following roadways will be affected: Calloway Drive, Hageman Road, Knudsen Drive, Olive Drive, southbound State Route 99, westbound Hosking Avenue, northbound Wible Road, eastbound Panama Lane. You can expect traffic delays on the aforementioned roadways that time on Thursday, August 17th 2017.
